Varsity All Star has created an elite invitation only competition called, The Summit, that takes place on May 4-5 2013 in Orlando Florida. This event is geared to showcase talented all star teams from all levels. Varsity All Star has committed over $1,000,000 to make sure that The Summit is the premiere all star experience. Only the top level, exceptional teams will be awarded bids. This means that only 10% of the all star teams that compete will be offered this prestigious offer.
The Summit will include 107 paid bids and 355 at large bids. The paid bid package has a retail value of $510 per athlete. Multiply this cost by the number of athletes on a team, and then factor in that this covers 107 teams. This will give you a better idea of how much money Varsity All Star is putting into making the participants feel honored and make sure the experience, or The Climb, as Varsity All Star calls it, is extraordinary. This paid bid includes 4 nights at Disney’s All Star Resort, a 4 day Walt Disney World Park Hopper Pass, bus transportation to and from the event, transportation to the airport, and a celebration party. The top 5 teams who make the “Final Quest” in each division will receive a personalized Summit banner with their division and placement, and all division champions will receive Inaugural Summit Champion Rings. The event will be broadcast on Varsity TV. It is obvious that Varsity All Star is going above and beyond to award these elite teams an exceptional adventure.
Another added bonus is that participants can bring spectators. Spectators who are only going to the ESPN Wide World Of Sports Complex have two choices. They can buy a park hopper pass, (3 day for $206, 4 day for $236, or a 5 day for $266), that also gets them admitted to the ESPN Wide World Of Sports Complex, or they can just buy a ticket for the event only, without a Park Hopper Pass, for $25.
